The Photographer
Hello! I'm Aarathi, I make beautiful portraits of children and their families. Portraits to treasure, which can be passed on as our families grow and the years go by. I love to snuggle on the sofa with my two boys and see the wonder in their eyes as I show them old photos and tell them stories of what they did as babies... And how I loved every minute spent with them! Photos of my children are so precious, especially as I don't know what I looked like as a child - the first family photo of me was taken when I was 2, and I hardly have any pictures taken later. This is why I smile when I think about how my boys may share their pictures and stories with their children and our family history will be remembered.
Moonchild Portraits is about remembering, and preserving memories, love, and family.
The Photoshoot Experience
I love nature, the colors, the soft sun, and the seasons. I also love being outdoors, so I have made the natural world my studio. Portraits crafted with natural light are my passion but I am also a trained professional in studio lighting.
Your photography experience will be fun, relaxed, and unhurried. We will speak before the session to discuss clothing choices, picture styles, and your plan for your pictures. Your session may last one or two hours, there's no rush! We will then meet again once the pictures have been individually post-processed, allowing you to view your pictures and select your product. We'll be with you every step of the way, from the initial consultation, through the photography experience, and during the viewing session. We do this because we care and want your Moonchild Experience to be a truly memorable one.
